Techbrew Dublin run by Technology Ireland

TechBrew is an informal gathering of software company management and technology leaders, getting together to chat over a beer and a bite to eat.

Theme of the evening: ‘Start-ups: Disruptor or Better Mousetrap? - encourage the next Uber or traditional business?’

Aimed at: leaders, investors and advisors in tech companies: Founders, Advisors, Mentors, Programme Leaders, Investors or anyone supporting the growth of the Technology Sector

Start-up speak is a particular language with MVP, Pivoting and Disruptive Business Models. How should we be encouraging our start-up founders in their business ideas and goals?

  • Is Disruption a bad word, when you consider the challenges and limited opportunities for success?
  • Should we be encouraging more traditional approaches and evolutionary ideas rather than revolutionary?
  • Is Ireland a location for start-ups with big goals big risk ideas?
  • Do we have the business supports and investment needed to build world shaking businesses out of Ireland?
  • OR should we be seeking to support the big dreams?

Hear from expert speakers followed by open discussion.

Moderated by: Donagh Kiernan, CEO Tenego Partnering
