About Technology Ireland

Technology Ireland is the largest and most influential business organisation representing Ireland's tech sector. With origins dating back to 1968, the association was formed in 2017 by the merger of ICT Ireland and the Irish Software Association.

Our membership is made up of the leading Irish-owned and FDI players in the Irish technology sector. Our network is structured around a series of core working groups, member forums and networking events, all of which are the primary enablers of our strategy.

By forging close working relationships with government departments, state agencies and governing bodies, Technology Ireland ensures the united voice of the Irish technology sector is clearly communicated to the relevant stakeholders and policy makers.

We have launched the 28th Annual Technology Ireland Industry Awards. The Technology Ireland Industry Awards are designed to honour the best and brightest of Ireland’s technology companies.

These awards recognise and celebrate those companies who have achieved exceptional success and developed innovative digital technologies, across nine award categories. COVID-19 has made 2020 an exceptionally challenging year, but it has also underlined Ireland’s technology sector as a cornerstone of Ireland’s economic and social infrastructure.”

Technology Ireland, together with Award sponsors EY Ireland, Workhuman, Fidelity Investments Enterprise Ireland, FIT ICT Associate Apprenticeship, Technology Ireland Software Skillnet, and Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet, are urging all Irish software and digital technology companies to submit their own entries for the Awards by Friday, 2nd October. Entry is free and not restricted.
